Focused Radio Episode#1 Mr. Cee … Hip Hop and Homophobia
Hip hop music can sometimes be a machismo filled anti-gay music but interestingly enough its very Homoerotic at times. The recent events of Hot 97 Dee Jay Mister Cee has re-sparked an interesting debate about hip hop and homophobia. I am a strong supporter of what you do is your business as long as you have 2 consenting adults but I think hip hop may need to grow up and recognize homosexuality isn’t going anywhere and some of hip hop’s heroes themselves may be gay… hey it is what is. Anyway Listen and I will explain myself … as well as play some good music …. enjoy!
