NEW MUSIC Kanye and Jay Z – Otis
O.k. I really tried to find something wrong with this song. Some might call it a “hater” move but I call it objective listening . Bottom line is Jay and Yeezy brought some soul back to the game that has been missing since the south kidnapped hip hop a couple of years ago. The Otis Redding sample is chopped schizophrenically (dont know if thats a word but hey its my magazine not yours) … anyway the flow from both hov and yeezy is the kind of thing that made me fall in love with hip hop in the first place. The back in forth is a reminder of groups that changed the game like EPMD , RUN DMC shit even Mobb Deep. I tried to not like it but I guess the Illuminati got my mind soul and my body…. enjoy
